Reuven — The First Tribe: the One Who Must Become the Beginning

Updated: Jul 26

A person in a long coat stands on a path leading into an enchanted forest with tall, surreal trees, illuminated by glowing orbs in the sky. The scene has a mystical, dreamlike atmosphere with swirling textures on the trees and ground.

Reuven — the first tribe of Israel, the one who must become the beginning — opens the Talei Or journey through scent and soul. His essence speaks of transformation, of turning memory into motion, and becoming what the world still waits to see.

When God created Reuven,

He placed within him the first spark.

Not power,

but a beginning — like a burst of light

that does not yet know where to flow.

Reuven is the firstborn.

The one in whom the motion of the system is seeded.

But untamed force flows in his veins.

He hears the call of life before others,

yet cannot always hold its form.

And still — this is not a curse.

It is a task.

To be the beginning does not mean to be first.

It means learning to channel the flow,

as the Creator channels His giving.

To help him — three plants of Israel.

Three guardians of his will.

Fumana thymifolia — a modest shrub

that blooms on dry slopes like fire in ashes.

It teaches: even in arid soil

a spark may awaken.

It grants clarity — without haste.

Notobasis syriaca — thorny desire.

The will to be, to take, to break through.

But without a vessel, it stings.

Its thorns remind:

not all that calls — leads to light.

You are given discernment.

Inula viscosa — thick, warm, bitter.

Like pain that became flesh.

It does not push away — it holds.

With resin and sharpness

it returns Reuven to his root:

remember what you were lit for.

Aroma:

- Fumana: pollen-like, light, with a hint of stone

- Notobasis: green, dry, ascending

- Inula: resinous-herbal, bodily, grounding

Effect:

They purify intention, form the inner vessel,

teach how to distinguish soul-calling from ego-sparks.

Message of Reuven:

“You were given the strength to be first.

But be a beginning like the Creator:

guiding, patient,

hearing clothed in form.

You are not an impulse.

You are chosen to direct the light.”
